Artist's Biography

Jeff Samples, Proprietor and Artist has thirty-five years of experience under his belt. He began learning the trade as a young boy, as his father was also a mason. At the age of eighteen he entered the family business, and thus officially began his career as a mason. His passion for sculpting began at a young age as well. He developed his skills first by carving wood. Later down the road, he realized that he could incorporate those same carvings into his masonry work by using brick instead of wood. Jeff has resided in Washington State since 1968, and has been featured in many local, and even national newspapers for his exceptional art work. He is also the proud recipient of many awards. Jeff's personal philosophy, one which he lives by every day is that masonry is art. With the fervor of those two passions combined, he continues to astonish us as a community.
